Third task: Summary of Panglaykim Memorial Dialog 2012

This year’s Panglaykim Memorial Dialog presented the “father” of creative economy: Prof. John Howkins. Along with Prof. Howkins is this class’ lecturer, Ibu Mari Elka Pangestu who was present as the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Republic of Indonesia.

The dialog itself is free for public and was actually taped and will be broadcasted on Metro TV in Dalton Tanonaka’s program.

The dialog itself is a rare opportunity. Nevertheless, given that we really understand that economics students truly live in the first principle of economics: People respond to incentive, we offer some extra points for students who come and write a summary of the dialog.

Below is the short bio of Prof. Howkins. I’ll write another post on the information of the broadcast schedule for the dialog.
